An insulating mat is a rubber-based protective floor covering that provides electrical insulation between the floor and the worker in front of switchboards, transformer and switchgear rooms. It is supplied in rolls and can be cut to size. Insulation class, thickness and standard (e.g. IEC 61111) are confirmed from the supplied product's documentation at quotation stage.
